I've got a HP Probook 5310m with Kubuntu 9.10 with the gnome networkmanager
applet (otherwise I can't get my secure wireless to work). And have exactly the
same problems. When booting without cable no networkcard is listed. When
booting with cable no probs (using it right now). But when I unplug

I can reproduce this bug.
I run Amarok v 2.2.0 with Kubuntu 9.10 RC. Browsing samba shares from the files
menu works, but adding doesn't do anything. For me an very annoying bug since I
live on a university with a large 3000+ samba shares and I don't want to mount
them all.

I think the real bug here is that after the upgrade from 7.10 to 8.06
(or earlier update?) the 'hardy-security universe' repos isn't enabled
but the adept repos config screen says it is. At least, this was the
problem in my case.

Jamie Strandboge, thank you very much for this solution. First I thought
I had enabled this repos. Adept had all checkboxes enabled, but after
manually viewing this sources.list file, I saw it wasn't. Anyway, works
like it should be again :)

I can confirm this bug. I have a Canon Ixus 70, which also isn't
recognized by kde 4.1.(64bit) Digicam can't connect to it either. Trying
"camera:/" in dolphin gives the same results.
