when it was built in Maverick.
This one here obviously wasn't, since Maverick ships with wxGTK 2.8.11 .
Just create a new binary package for Maverick. The aMule project does

This crash is from an unsupported SVN version of aMule 2.2.0 from over
two years ago. There have been six stable aMule releases since. Current
stable version of aMule in Ubuntu is 2.2.6.

Yes, all windows maximize slightly under the panel: tested gedit,
epiphany, gcalc, etc

Additionally, I should mention that it is still happening in Edgy. I
think it must have something to do with the way the kernel handles my
chipset... which I is one of the NVIDIA nForce ones. I'll get more info
later this afternoon when I get home.

With iPod plugged in, Dapper will not boot

I just suspended and resumed with kernel 2.6.17-10.33 about 10 times in
a row, in various states of AC and ethernet and had NO problems at all.
It hasn't panic'd for me yet, but I have no access points around, so I
haven't tried it with wireless at this point.
A huge improvement!

Aha! Thank you very much Sebastien, that will certainly work. Although,
I don't think I agree with the decision to hide that plugin by default.
The number of computers that will be associated with an mp3 player is
probably less than 50%.

I installed tremulous and tremulous-server so I could try out the game,
but I noticed that the server was eating up all of my CPU. I couldn't
get a useful trace from it, but its obviously stuck in a loop somewhere.
The best I could do...
I'm using Edgy with Rhythmbox 0.9.6, and its doing the same thing with
my 60GB iPod. It uses 100% of my CPU for 10 minutes to list all the
songs on it every time I plug in the iPod or start Rhythmbox.
But the real trouble is that I have the iPod support plugin DISABLED
anyway, because I don't
