I've just tried switching to Gnome Shell on the same machine and with the same user, and there I cannot reproduce it. When I switch back to Unity, I can only reproduce it when I choose a theme, e.g. Ambiance, in Appearance settings. This makes me think it is related to the window decorator. --

The issue still occurs, it happens on every resume from suspend. It's worth noting that my built-in LCD display comes back to life as usual, and that I normally need the radeon-off quirk (which uses a tool called radeontool) to get my built-in display to be turned _off_ at suspend. -- Failure
