I just wanted to point out that this bug made adesklets package borrowed
from Debian unusable on the amd64 platform for all Ubuntu releases since
Feisty. If it gets closed without having a direct confirmation it's no
longer a problem (and I don't see how I wouldn't be) because no one
care, I think

kernel 2.6.24-15-generic, when I resume from hibernation, I can see on
the console:

Suspending console(s)
Then the virtual terminal is switched to Xorg but I see a black scree

I get no more Oops if I unplug my TV card (saa7134). So that should be
an issue with that module.

Please do not resolve this bug as invalid. The issue reported by amias
about the missing module package has nothing to do with this bug.
This issue is real and about something else. Please read the posts about
the pci conflict and the proposed kernel patch.

I confirm this is a problem.
The hack given below seems to work ( at least post-install finishes
correctly )
For me the importance of this bug is should be HIGH, since it breaks
apt.

I just tested the patch above, it fixes the issue for me.
I see a message:

Ok, it only crashes if it is given a non existing uri. I just installed
the libc info pages, and now "yelp info:libc" is not crashing any more.
