This particular bug has been fixed (I downloaded the ISO again sometime
afterwards and it work without any problems.)
You can download the ISO of this version or get the latest Ubuntu Distro 11.04

The issue no longer exists (in my case), I just downloaded the ISO images and
burned
them with the same unit, and gave them a try, everything runs fine now,
not to mention that I just ran the Update Manager and Synaptic Package
Manager.
It runs smoothly in
command line and LiveCD i386 amd64 no desktop and Computer DOES NOT freeze.
