[Bug 1073367] [NEW] Wubi + Ubuntu on HP dv5t-1000, after installing and updating and doing a restart Ubuntu only loads the background and thats it. I have done this at least twice.

Public bug reported: I installed Ubuntu on my HP dv5t-1000 laptop using wubi. It installed fine. I ran the software updater. Everything installed fine. It asked me to restart, but gave me only the option to shutdown so I did. I turned it on. I select to boot Ubuntu. It loads up the Ubuntu
