apt-get install libcanberra-gtk* did not work for me.
Upgrade to 22.04 LTS did not work for me either.
My workaround was to remove Firefox snap completely and install install
Firefox using apt as described below:
sudo snap remove firefox
cd ~/snap
rm -r firefox
sudo gedit /etc/apt/preferences.d
Kai-Heng, yes the root was ZFS, but it's not anymore. I have reinstalled
using btrfs on root and the latest kernel (5.10). The lockups have
stopped occurring.

I have the same laptop and am experiencing the same bug. I have tried
upgrading to 4.8.0-30-generic but that does not fix the problem for me.
I did try and turn off all monitors except the laptop monitor before
undocking and that allowed me to put the laptop to sleep. I could not
wake it up, though
With the router in pure 802.11G mode, the interface just barely hangs in
there. When I run SpeedTest.net, ping times go through the roof, the
test sometimes gets stuck without completing, and the results are very
bad. Oddly, ping reports no dropped packets. Just severely delayed ones.

Just docked my laptop and woke it up from sleep and it detected the two
monitors.
This was either fixed in the latest kernel or after I disabled polling
in drm_kms_helper:

It's sort of solved. After an update later on I was able to output to
a VGA so I can now use Dual head. I am not able to use DisplayPort,
however, but I do believe that a bug report has been made for that
issue.
I guess this one can be closed then.

Well I would do it if I knew how since this grew from an ubuntu distro issue to
a debian distro.
I am not sure where the source code/package for debian is located nor do I feel
confident in upstream development yet. I am targeting bitesize ubuntu bugs.

thanks. I am learning bzr and developing in general. From what I see this issue
is probably solved by editing the file debian/josm.desktop to only include the
Geography category in the debian distro.

I am unable to remove the "Apps Available for Download" section. The
section is really annoying for normal use. We don't have to know why we
can download some random games every time we want to start an
application. Also, it makes my netbook PC muc
