THe script by @rasch did not help for the issue that I have on my XPS
9360 where the wifi adapter is gone after resuming from sleep. Not sure
if it's supposed to. Putting the machine back to sleep and then waking
it up again solves things. However, if it's plugged in while I put it to
sleep, waking
S given that this has had a fix committed for just under a year,
when can we expect to see it in stable builds? It's the one thing that's
keeping me on Tilix. Thanks!

That one seems to be working like a treat. No errors in `dmesg` and it
picks up the device as it should in Hangouts on both Chrome and
Chromium.

I'm not familiar with Launchpad, so I have no idea how to mark this
fixed or invalid or whatever, but I just apt-get dist-upgraded and it
appears to be working properly now.

Just to clarify, I'm not sure if this happens with the adapter plugged
in, and if charging/using the battery has anything to do with it. The
fan is pretty quiet, and there's enough ambient noise not to notice.
Still, this sort of thing can probably break a fan, so I think it should
be fixed before

on battery and the fan would turn on for a second, then off again, then
on for a couple of seconds, then off again, etc. It didn't seem normal

After usplash, the screen just goes blank until I press any key, after
which I get tty1 instead of kdm. As soon as I press Ctrl+Alt+F7, kdm
starts up just fine, but I do have to perform this step manually.
