Updated to Ubuntu 20.04 and still this issue: very limited zoom in
Evince PDF.
Will this bug ever been fixed (15 years old) or will we have to apply
the aforementioned fix on every update?

Indeed, changing the page-cache-size with the following command:
gsettings set org.gnome.Evince page-cache-size 2014
We are now able have a way bigger zoom ( 3200% ) (screenshot attached)

I'm running the same version (12.04 64Bit) as the OP and on the last
update, the Volume wheel of my Dell keyboard doesnt change the volume.
(but it is correctly recognised in the shortcut menu)

I'm able to reproduce this problem with the following steps:
- start FF
- minimize FF
- open a link from another software (Purple or Thunderbird)
- maximize FF from the task bar, the decorator is missing.
Workaround:
- select FF with the missing decorator, ALT+SPACE then Minimize, then ALT+TAB

Hello, since the 9.04 (RC) version, cheese doesn't start properly with a very
similar error, on a eeePc 901. It was running fine on the same hardware,
version 8.10.
