was the one who misunderstood how the VPN IPv4v6 dialogs work, and thus
wasn't finding the "User this connection only for the resources on this

frankly this isn't fully discussed in the phone's user manual. That

The modem in the BQ Aquaris E4.5 is dual-standby, which means it's not
able to use both SIMs simultaneously.
If you're using one of the SIMs for data, and data is actually being

So basically what I'm seeing is that system-settings doesn't recognize
the change of networking technology, and eventually times out after
4-5m, at which point the "Connect to the Internet" message is displayed.

try on krillin/OTA8.5. When I clicked the back button to return to the

I can't reproduce either. I toggled WiFi and FlightMode both a few
times and checked the MAC address via "ip addr". The MAC address is
reported the same for wlan0 each time.
I also verified that /persist/wifi/.macaddr exists, and is set to the
same MAC addr reported by ip.
Re-tested to check that initiating the connection from the phone ( ie.
by doing a fresh pairing ) doesn't make a difference.
Nothing has been upgraded on the phone, same image used as when the bug
was reported. No difference after connecting from the phone; syslog
attached.

Re-tested with the last stable image ( ie. bluez4 userspace ) on
krillin, and the headset functions works fine regardless of which side

While debugging some re-factoring work on the ofono upower plugin, I
noticed that I wasn't able to answer or terminate calls using my Jawbone
ERA headset. I bought this headset last year, and although it's an
older model, it's spec sheet states that it supports HSP 1.1, and
hanged in: qtbase-opensource-src (Ubuntu RTM)

Thanks for the heads-up re: battery status. The plugin that handles
battery status currently doesn't properly handle dual-SIM. It's on our
list to resolve before OTA9 is released.

your comment #131 ( I think that may be the largest comment # I've seen
in a LP bug ), as your latest update to bug #1524133 indicated that
you'd isolated the problem to a SIM with an expired data plan?

The error you're seeing is that by default, the Ubuntu filesystem is
read-only. Sorry for not mentioning this. There is a way to make your
filesystem write-able, but an easier way to get the traces is to run the
following command as root:
# restart ofono OFONO_RIL_DEVICE=mtk
So the latest changes in Lorn's signals6 patch can be summarized as:
1) remove QNetworkManagerEngine::requestUpdate (), which is a public
method which can trigger a WiFi scan request to NM.
This method doesn't appear to be called internally by the bearer plugin,
so if we think extra WiFi scans

So to summarize:
1. If SwiftKey is used on an Android device to send a message containing
diacritics, the message is displayed on Ubuntu minus the diacritics.
2. If a SwiftKey emoticon is included in the sent message, the received
message is truncated ( and still lacks the diacritics
