Your workaround works, but you should note it only works when launching from
the shortcut in the application menu (Unity dash), if you open it from the
indicator it still launches a new instance.
Unfortunately the indicator most likely has the command hard coded into
it so there's
+1 for fixing this bug. In the latest Ubuntu 14.04 it doesn't even work
when using Ubuntu's keyboard settings. It would be nice, not just
because it's how you open system monitor in Windowz (I couldn't care
less about Windowz), but using Ctrl+Shift+Esc is just a nice logical

report, it's still here. Avra is not compatible with avr assembler 2
include files, so why are they still shipped with avra??? If you
manually get all the include files from version 1, and overwrite the

I ran /etc/init.d/networking restart from the terminal and it appeared
that Unity crashed as result. The launcher and the top panel

This just happened again as I was booting a Windows XP Virtualbox
machine. It begun when the boot up Microsoft sound played. That is, the
music I was listening to became distorted when the first sound from my
Virtualbox machine played.

I'm getting this error two.
I have basically a fresh install of 10.10 beta
Dell Latitude e6410
and just prior to this I was trying to get my xorg to work
