What does it take to add the .MTS to totem-video-thumbnailer?
As it is now, as long as it isn't a 24p encoded into a 60i stream, most

I'll correct myself. It has to do with using the rect parameter in the
stanza correctly.
kwwii -- perhaps you can have a look at the attachment and see the
proper way to utilize rects to get the desired effect.

I think you are entirely missing the point. Read the topic of the bug.
The idea is to have a _Human_ variant.
This means a very restricted set of design guidelines (albeit inferred
as opposed to well documented) in order to fit in.
The sources are provided and they are SVG which means that the
Design issue, but here is a kludge. It looks like awful however. To make this
more aesthetically pleasing, we would need to expand the size of the options
button "dead area". Of course, comprehensive design might accommodate for
issues such as this (that was a poke to you sab. ;) )

The bug reporting issue regarding design is getting a tad silly.
We have no target audience for the design -- which is ultimately the
problem. The aesthetic, whatever it ends up being, _will_ not and _can_
not please everyone.
Also, permitting "bug" reports to be filed against any aspect is trul

Until we have one, I would close all bugs with words like "better" in

I can, again, push a fix that will set the input box to a scaled region,
but as of now, it appears that it is impossible to accomplish in the
bounding container.
Theoretically, it should scale to the target dimensions of the user's
monitor, so it seems logical

I formatted my 8 gig 133x digital still camera compact flash to ext3. I
tested with pushing a gig to it and then pulling the gig back.
Thus far, no errors.
As a result, the previous VFat32 might be the cause of the problem?

ehci_hcd module causes I/
Bad luck. Retested with ext2 and it bombs out with several input /
output errors and then finally crashing ehci_hcd.
I should note that this appears to happen only when writing from the
device to disk. Disk to device appeared to go normally except it
couldn't be unmounted gracefully.

Stuffing more in the queue gags ehci_hcd and forces a reload.
Transferring pictures 20 or so 15 meg files at a time is nauseating

Does this mean that you are experiencing lockups?
If this is the case, we might want to do some digging to see exactly
what chipset goes into the 7200 and 7300 lines to see if there is the
possibility that this is a related bug.

Compiled the new binary nasty blob driver and so far no lockups.
Also edited the Python to enable desktop effects.
Thus far, stable with glx!

to load thanks to some funky garbage that Ubuntu has stuck into the
modprobe script. The new modprobe will attempt to use lrm-video to
