Sorry, but I'm really not sure what is the cause of this bug (KDE, QT,
Xorg) and what package(s) should I report to.
My graphic card:
Intel GMA965GM chipset with X3100 onboard GPU
I'm sending some screenshots and some other info as an attachment.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
Bugs,
$ ifup eth0
$ rm /var/run/dhclient*
$ killall -9 -r dhclient*
$ ifconfig eth0 down
$ ifconfig eth0 up

..but I was not successful at all until rebooting the whole OS. After
that, everything worked fine again (dhclient etc.).
Thanks in advance, Vojtech Vitek [V-Teq].
** Affects: dhcp
This bug also affected my keyboard, but the only key that didn't work was LEFT
ARROW (mapped to no action).
Changing the keyboard model to Evdev fixed this.

Hi, your post gave me right direction.
The pulseaudio daemon was running properly (and had no conflict with other
application).
But when I killed pulseaudio daemon and started it again, rhythmbox was after
that not responding at all (it freezed after pushing the play button).

I started VLC as the first program today. Everything about VLC was OK,
but all other programs (started from GUI) had blocked sound output.
MOC (music on console player) had also this problem when started from
GUI. It's very annoying and should be fixed as early as possible.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
I can confirm this too (Hardy Heron Alpha-6).
Only first-started application (VLC, rhytmbox, Firefox etc.) is able to use
sound output. But if I switch to another terminal (mean CTRL+ALT+F[1-6]), the
sound is lost. Returning back to GUI, sound start to play again.
The only exception that's
Confirmed on HP 6510b laptop with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
(Hardy Alpha-6 x86).
