Also note that in Ambiance's MainViewStyle.qml, it hardcodes the theme
setting as Ubuntu.Components.Themes.%1, where this may not be the path
of a Custom theme (mine for example is UbuntuCustom.Themes.Whatever)

Currently UBUNTU_UI_TOOLKIT_THEMES_PATH supports only having one dir,
and it's not writable in the RO image. We should have it point to a
writable spot on the image so that themes can be installed

well. needless to say, i still can not type into the box.

I can not type in dash home. The text area is blank and is not editable.
However, i can still choose symbols with the mouse in dash home and run listed
applications.

When launching unity from a 4-finger tap, unity launches, as expected,
but the home scope is not selected. In fact, no scope is selected, and
searching has no effect since so scope is selected.

lines. If you open in Calc, you will see that they are thicker (1.00
pt).
If you uncheck "use antialiasing" in LO options, the lines look a bit
better (a bit more in focus), but are still too thick.

files in Excel 2007 on a Windows machine, so it's not a Wine bug.
