Since 2.6.30 thermal control does not function after resume: the fan
will not come on until the temperature reaches 80C, and when it does the
fan starts spinning at the highest level and never backs down. This is
tested using Ubuntu 9.10, 10.04 alpha 2 and upstream kernel

1) Tell gnome-panel to autohide.
2a) Click on a launcher, or
2b) Open menu on an applet (e.g. preferences, power history...)
Observe panel does not autohide.
3) Mouseover panel, move pointer away from panel.

menu and click around with the different options. Not more accurately

intermittently at boot. I'm running intrepid, 2.6.27-3-generic, and *sometimes*

Frequency scaling appears to work 100% of the time, according to the

powernowd/modprobe/linux, where sometimes during startup Ubuntu will get
