I played around more with the uefi options and (by sheer luck and
intuition) found how to fix this! :-)
In `Advanced->AMD CBS->NBIO Common Options` set `IOMMU = Enabled` (it
was disabled by default!)
Now SME works fine with Bios Options TSME=Enabled, Scramble=Enabled.

After some more searching, I did find two options in the UEFI:
"TSME" (Description: "Transparent SME: AddrTweakEn = 1; ForceEncrEn =1;
DataEncrEn = 0")
"Data Scramble" (Description: "Data scrambling: DataScrambleEn. ")
Both can be set to Enabled/Disabled/Auto, with auto being the default.

I've also tried setting
[ifupdown]
managed=true
in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
and
`touch /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/10-globally-managed-devices.conf`.

The `share/dot.bashrc` file checks like this whether to enable
`color_prompt`:

Nowaways, most terminals support 256 colors (instead of 8 like xterm-
color). Their $TERM will usually be something like `xterm-256color`.
Maybe it does indeed scale the icons - they are nearly as big as the
previews and overlap them mostly.
