Upgrading to Xubuntu 14.04 the music stops playing when the screen locks by

I went to the Light Locker Settings and in Automaticly lock the session I

Does somebody else experience that the trackpad is way to sensitive

This works! Ubuntu with kernel 3.9.6. Thanks kendatsuba for the patch
and G.Scoppino for the compile instructions.
I did however get a error when running make install. Seems for me that
everything works, but I do feel that I have a more unprecise movement of
the pointer when I am moving slowly.
I am beginning to think that the lid wake problem I have with my 900x3e
is somewhat separate from this bug. Seems like the 900x3c model got
things fixed in Kernel 3.5.0-19-generic. The new 900x3e model do also
have the same bug, but it is not fixed in kernel (Ubuntu 13.04)

I haven't tried ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1 yet as it is too slow to download at
this point, but I experience random freezes as the above mentioned in a
fully updated kubuntu 12.04 Beta 1. An external usbmouse works fine
though. I've tried to move back to the 3.2.0-17 kernel and even though

Hello,
I have similar issues with Intel Integrated graphics. For me the drawing
problems first occured when I switched from an old 19 to a new 24 screen,
using 1900x1200 resolution. I am using Arch Linux, which means I have a newer
kernel:
$ uname -a
Linux abpc1154 2.6.38-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT
I had the same problem, but discovered that it was due to me starting
zsh from the bash shell, where (for some reason) the variable FPATH was
set by one of the programs I use. When this variable is set, zsh invoked
from the bash shell will not add the default paths, and thus the

The bug is also in Linux Mint 11 RC. Tobias Wolfs description seems to
be very accurate. I've also noticed that I have the same problem with
the rotate-cube plugin, i.e. the key bindings to move (with) windows get
stuck with one specific window.
This bug is really annoying, as the put plugin is
I think this problem still exists in Ubuntu 10.10. I chose to add both
standard Norwegian and Norwegian Dvorak layouts when installing, and
chose at first to use Dvorak as default. I later decided to use
standard as default. The problem is that after boot, Dvorak is always

I just tried to install Ubuntu 10.10 beta (desktop version) on my new
m4500 with the nvidia quadro fx 1800m graphics card, and the screen
still stays blank. Perhaps the beta is an older maverick image than
20100819? In any case, as far as I can see, the bug is not fixed for
maverick.
