Same problem here - must be a change from last.fm? This has happened to

Binary package hint: apache2
I am writing to see if this of enough importance to get this patch into
the apache version that will ship with Hardy.
A discussion from ASF along with the patch can be found here:

Sorry I can't provide more detailed config info, but as I explained before,
the machine has been wiped and reinstalled and reconfigured many times since
the original problem. But mine was a clean Hardy install, and all our
configs lived in ldap.conf (no pam_ldap.conf or anything like that), and we
I've got the same problem on hardy with v259, but only on some (not all)
LDAP users.

Ok, I'd love to upgrade to v260, but I can't find it anywhere. Is there
a mirror it is on, or a project site I can download it from?
Thanks.

Ah, yes, thanks for the link. Compiling v260 myself fixed the problem.
Is there any way to know if 260 will be placed in the repository (or
available as a .deb) before the release of hardy?

I only got the problem when I was using "groups: ldap files" in
nsswitch.conf, and without the "bind_policy soft" in ldap.conf. Changing
to groups: files ldap and bind_policy soft resolved the problem for me,
though I'm not sure of the udev version as the machine has been
reinstalled several times
Dustin,
Sorry, this was Hardy Beta... I'm not sure as to the particular release, since
I'm doing test preseed installs over a network from a local mirror that is
updated daily. I do recall that the version of libnss-ldap was 259 at the time,
though 258 is the latest I see in the repos now.

I have observed the exact same bug in Ubuntu 7.04 Beta.
Regarding the maximize button, it is worth noting that it will also
disappear if focus leaves the "Ubuntu device database collection"
window, such as when the user clicks on another window or uses alt-tab
to bring-up another window. The maxi
I am using a Thinkpad Z60t and am experiencing intermittent lockups in
open-gl applications also. This laptop has a GMA915 chip. I was
getting more consistent lockups using KDE's transparency features than I
am without however.
