outdated and has been in the past 2 releases.
Without the gem being updated, many Cloud Foundry users will be unable

Added latest logs from current Natty dev version.
Touchpad and USB mouse don't work at all on boot.
Switching to a vt and rmmod/modprobe psmouse causes USB mouse to work but
touchpad still doesn't.
Restarting X causes touchpad pointer movement and tap-to-click to work but
buttons do not.
Bryce, yes unfortunately it's still an issue.
I've tried various things including compiling my own psmouse module
(since backed out).
I update my Natty install every ~24 hours so I'm definitely on the

xorg interaction.

With an external input device attached, rmmod'ing psmouse completely
disables the touchpad (as expected), but enables all of the correct

Clarification:
After boot / login I have no working click of any kind.
Switch to console - rmmod / modprobe psmouse - trackpad no longer
works at all
Swich to console - service gdm restart - trackpad tap-to-left-click
now works, but the buttons still do not, so i am unable to get a right-

A clue - it was pointed out to me that Natty's kernel is using
CONFIG_USB_MOUSE=m and CONFIG_USB_KBD=m - this is not the case in
Maverick. Not sure if this would cause this change in behaviour. If so
this may be a kernel issue.

recompile with CONFIG_USB_MOUSE and CONFIG_USB_KBD unset, and that makes

qt/kde packages). Ran through kdewallet setup and yet blogilo crashes
complaining that QSQLITE is not available.
Simple solution surely - the blogilo package should depend on libqt4

I have the same issue. When I attach my USB headset (Microsoft LifeChat
LX-3000) the audio settings do not automatically switch to use it, nor

U1 Music Store today.
The way I understood U1 storage to work is that I see a Place for Ubuntu One in

Right now, whenever a new kernel is released (and installed via aptitude
safe-upgrade) I have to rebuild tp-smapi.
Could it use dkms to trigger an automatic rebuild as happens with the
VMware and nVidia kernel modules?

Importance:
Not working for me... I have both the zeroconf module and raop modules
installed and the raop-discover just doesn't see the AE. I'll dig into
router config but right not this is a major pain :-(

Hmm. After kicking Airport Extreme and Express a bit, I found that avahi
started to identify the raop service on the Express, and it does now
seem to be working... so debug step would probably be use avahi-browse,
look for raop, if not there, restart routers etc...

I think the latest debs are 2.3 - it would be nice to have an apt-get
(or even Ubuntu Software Center) installable package that adds a menu
entry and puts the binaries somewhere sane. By far a nicer / more

The most recent change to this package has not fixed the problem. There
is no .desktop file included in the gpointing-device-settings package
included in the karmic release (1.3.1-2)

I've hit this bug today - I want to use gnome-web-photo with shutter but
it hangs. I've tried running at the command-line with both
xulrunner-1.9.1.5 (hang) and xulrunner-1.9.0.14 (outputs some text about
registering some mozilla.org python loaders, then hangs).

In karmic the program hangs on
For grub2, edit /etc/default/grub and add pciehp.pciehp_force=1 to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT. Then save the file and run update-grub. In
my case, this makes both card readers work correctly under 9.10 on an
AAO 110L.
