i also tried to compile gstreamer-vaapi from sources [1] and had the
message saying that GST_BASEVIDEO is missing

Simply renaming "Print to File" into "Export as PDF" is not going to fix that
bug.
Since "Export as PDF" has nothing to do with Print in user mental model, it
should be shown in Print dialog box but in File menu, Like "Save"

The only reason why I turn off the nautilus desktop is that i don't like the
desktop metaphor (whereas I like the Netbook Remix way for instance).
All my files are managed through a proper Nautilus window with a navigation
toolbar and sort & display options.

The good way would have been to make the functionality available to other
applications and let them decide if they want/need to use it. I guess that some
applications would have implemented the featur

although i can't create a zip file within Nautilus through context menu
or by drag'n dropping a file into a file-roller window and selecting
zip, it worked following instructions concerning valgrind ("Start the
program under control of memcheck") !

I think that there is a bug in Firefox seacrch box related to that decision.
In the search box, the icon of the current search engine is displayed but if

The search engine drop down list should use the always-show-icons property of
GtkImageMenuIte
Considering recent bug fix in Epiphany 2.27.92, it looks like that bug could be
related to applications themselves.
Therefore i add Nautilus and Eye of GNOME to that report since both have a menu
entry for size resetting that points out to "ctrl+0" shorcut.
I don't add Evince since i didn't see a
