Also tried to manually install it while still in live system, but got:
$ sudo grub-install --no-floppy /dev/sda
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for /boot/grub (is /dev
mounted?).
while ls /dev/ lists all devices (including sda).

Ok, reinstall with ext4 as root partition fixed that, I'm up and running.
If btrfs is not supported as root partition this should be noted though...

When using a wide vertical panel the indicator plugin stacks indicators
vertically but does not use the horizontal space.
I would expect to see one row with three indicators in my case and if
more indicators appear they should form a second (third, ...) row. It is

same situation here, same kernel versions, also nvidia, amd64...
how do i produce the fancy list of attachments?
nearly downgraded right away but then noticed that on linux-
image-2.6.38-8-generic 2.6.38-8.42 Ubuntu Session runs fine in Safe
Mode. Also, as now tried, 2.6.35 works, too.

sorry for the bump, but this problem still exists.
it should be pretty easy to fix by adding the appropriate packages to the
dependencies or just make a virtual package sound-juicer-mp3. I don't know how
how to most elegantly handle this.
the point is: i remember that every time i install sound
