system boots up fine but doesn't appear to initialize the motherboard's
built in realtek network adapter so there is no network connectivity to

packages and the jdkhome setting is overridden by the package installed
/etc/visualvm/visualvm.conf to:

Turned out to be bad system memory! This bug can be removed / closed /

using lucid lucy alternate cd, I get a failure to install the base
system with above error report. Cd integrity good, and tried 2 cd's. i
did save a log if more info is needed.

An application crash should not be expected behavior. My partition was
full, but the program should have displayed an error message and exited
normally. That's not what happened.
