The acpitempf and cputempf variables are deprecated since more than a
year. To display a temperature in either Celsius or Farenheit you can
now use the configuration variable called temperature_unit (default to
Celsius). You can't display a temperature twice using two different
units using a
with previous build,
however it's the only change I made).

If I add conky to the startup applications or if i launch conky using launcher

command line?

Also all the configuration files in mira-red are ok for me, so, I really
suspect you have a problem with either nvclock, sensors or the weather scripts
(if the weather scripts download stuff it is possible that the freeze is just
the scripts hanging up on a request).

You use quite a lot of external scripts/commands, it is very likely that the
freeze is related to one of these. I would check them out one by one.
Try also one configuration file at the time, and see which of them causes the
problem.

Try also with a very basic configuration file with just a variable and see if
that would cause the freeze too.

I wonder if this is the same issue as bug #436698.
The backtrace is pretty useless, so, if you can collect any extra info that
would be beneficial. Perhaps valgrind (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind) can
help since it seems to be related to a memory corruption problem.
