[Bug 511873] Re: Black pixels are displayed instead of transparency for some rounded objects in KDE 4.4 RC1 and 2

2010-03-28 Thread Captain Chaos
In Kubuntu 10.04 beta1 this is still happening, so maybe a more proactive approach is warranted. And isn't it usual to track the bug in the upstream project, so that a new release can be made when the bug is fixed, instead of just marking the bug invalid? ** Changed in: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu)

2010-03-28 Thread Captain Chaos
Still not working in Kubuntu 10.04 beta1. Since Konqueror is the default browser there this is quite problematic for effective bug reporting. Shouldn't this also be filed under konqueror, since it's quite possibly a bug in Konqueror instead of Launchpad? ** Also affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)

It appears to be a recurrent problem. I can unmount the bound directories and mount them again, or reboot, and the problem will be gone. But after a while it recurs. I haven't found a pattern yet as to when it recurs, but I have found a new oddity: Not only does Linux think every file is a

I should add that this happened while I was working in my IDE (Netbeans). It wasn't after a reboot, or an install, or anything like that. Since Netbeans is written in Java I don't think it could have caused the problem, I think something entirely unrelated to what I was doing at the time happened.
