Alright, I'll check out the debian/ubuntu source. For some reason I thought it was going to be an easy add, and something that just made sense. But I'm not the one with the code in front of me. I should also point out that since I'm using the ubuntu release it would take a while for it to be the

The point? 1) The replacing via hardlink is an assumption. I don't keep them on the same filesystem, I keep them on another external. 2) For backups. I'm keeping backups of my apt cache, so that if something goes wrong I don't have to make a trip to a decent internet source just to download/copy

Alright. I'm sorry. I realize that this is open source software and that the developers aren't paid for the software. Personally, I'll use it just as much if this isn't added as this piece of software is better then apt-cacher and not even worth mentioning in the same sentence as apt-proxy. If I

Sorry spoke too soon. I can't find any webpage for Apt-cacher-ng anywhere. No links for the source code, and definitely no svn/git... Any hints? Not saying I'll actually be able to do anything, i doubt I will, but I gotta try. On Thu, Jul 8, 2010 at 3:34 PM, Isaac Witmer isaa...@gmail.com wrote:
