A workaround that worked for me is to replace the following line in
/etc/kernel/postinst.d/dkms:
`exec /usr/lib/dkms/dkms_autoinstaller start $inst_kern`
with
`exec /usr/lib/dkms/dkms_autoinstaller start $inst_kern >&2`

I appreciate that this may not be the right way to go about it but I
have managed to get this to work for me.
I currently have Ubuntu running on an old computer which I use as a
file-server, ftp -server, http intranet server and fuppes media server.
I was set to auto login and run fuppes on
Similar problem here, I was not able to use touchpad-/mouseclicks e.g. in Save
as- and Scale layer-windows.
The solution for me was to set the mode of all devices to disabled in the
extended input devices options, only device working in window-mode is the
Wacom Graphire4 stylus. Now everything
Correction: Stylus set to screen-mode. Sorry.

Opera
Public bug reported:
I have been using Opera browser for over 5 years. I prefer it and have found it
to be the fastest of all browsers including Firefox. Over the last week Opera
9.24 that I use, has really slowed down. It ran very fast with Feisty Fawn and
it ran very fast with Gutsy Gibbon
Same problem here on Gutsy, most recent git driver as mentioned above
does not fix this. Xorg.0.log is attached, hopefully I can provide some
more debug information soon.
