Public bug reported:
[Background]
Previously(before upgrading to 302.17-0ubuntu1~lucid~xup1), the system has been
configured for dual monitors (in TwinView mode. The second screen is rotated to
90 degrees). It worked well until upgrading to 302.17-0ubuntu1~lucid~xup1
[Symptom in new upgrade]
The problem still exists. Please help me. To reproduce the problem in Firefox:
(1)File/Save file as... to show a file dialoge
(2)Press the Create New Folder button
(3)To input Chinese, the toggle key is Ctrl-Space. Press Ctrl-Space will make
the new folder disppear.
The ibus-log is in #12.

After changing the input method key to Ctrl-Del, Ctrl-space cannot allow
Chinese input but Ctrl-space doesn't make the newly created folder disppear.
However, the same problem appears for Ctrl-Del.
Creating a new folder in Nautilus doesn't cause any problem. The problem
happens only with
As in the attached file.

The problem persists in my Ubuntu 10.4 desktop with latest updates.
Really, it is not firefox problem because the problem persists through
gedit, medit, ..., nearly all gnome programs. But the problem doesn't
exist in olular, a KDE program. I also have reflected the problem to
gnome, but without

I will repeat the problem in short. Firefox 3.6.13 for Ubuntu cannot
save Username and Password for http://www.url.com.tw while Firefox
3.6.13 for Windows can. The Firefox 3.6.13 for Ubuntu can save them for
other websites, indicating the Preferences setting is OK.

After I have time, I may try installing in my Lucid machine. Is there any

Anybody sees this problem?
In my Ubuntu 10.04, the above-mentioned

displayed correctly with Evince and Okular, even after methods mentioned
in #25 and #26.

Evince couldnot display chinese pdf files
In ubuntu 10.04 with installation of poppler-data and xpdf-chinese-
traditional, the Chinese characters are still broken in Evince 2.30.3
and in Okular 0.10.2. However, xpdf can show them correctly. It is
evident with the file provided in #24 by Steven McCoy. This issue has
seemed to last for
I even replaced stringsans-serif/string at the fourth line from
the bottom of /etc/fonts/conf.d/49-sansserif.conf with stringAR PL
UKai TW/string. But the problem persisted.
