Bad News. Dell inspiron 1525 with Debian squeeze (updated) amd64.
Now i see the message "An unknown error occurred while Suspender en RAM. The
errorcode is: '1'", but it does not suspend in any way.

I have the same problem, in debian squeeze with kernel. 2.6.30, also
amd64. But i have no problem with the keyboard, only the message "An
unknown error occurred while Suspender en RAM. The errorcode is: '1'". I
have it some month(s) ago, but it seems not very important.

Confimed:
This problem is related only to SOME networks.
At home: no problems with the ethernet card.
At home, connecting two computers through ssh: no problems with the ethernet
card.
At work, with gusty: The ethernet card is unable to get an ip through dhcp.
