Actually, my previous comment about the "asouund.conf" misspelling
seemed to be it. I fixed the spelling and rebooted, and now I have
sound.
So this bug is actually relating to whatever would have changed the
spelling of /etc/asound.conf.

I installed Fiesty Fawn on this laptop (Compaq V3000) yesterday, sound
was fully working and sounded great. Could control sound levels with the

I agree with davegod75. This should be upgraded in priority. Once all
