Same problem here with Gutsy on a Quanta mw1.
Doing:
killall -9 gnome-power-manager;gnome-power-manager --no-daemon --verbose >
~/gpm.log 2>&1
when battery has 11% of power.

Nothing, I tried to put the intel_agp module in the blacklist because
many people who have this problem also have (like me) an onboard graphic
card and one more which they use :(
