I pasted a OO.o spreadsheet table as a DDE-link into a text document.
Now, when I try to get rid of that table, I am unable to.
Here's what I do:
1. Position cursor inside the DDE-linked table
2. From menu select Table-Delete-Table

I can confirm this behaviour. It only applies to kernels from the 2.6.32
series. Kernels from the 2.6.31 series are not affected: if I start this
machine with 2.6.31-20 from Karmic (this machine has been upgraded from
Karmic), the split-screen issue doesn’t appear.

i have the same issue here on a Dell Precision M4400 with Karmic 32Bit.
After watching a film for about +- 1 hour the system slows down so that
i have to reboot. I tried also with Fedora Core 11 and there is the same
problem so i think this is a kernel related bug.

Apologies for I cannot yet describe how to reproduce this bug. Since the
ubgrade to karmic koala the system has come to a complete freeze with
blank screen at random times, mounting problems on /home are reported
during startup. I will add information as soon as I can collect

Now, it's working again. Strange. I reinstalled Cups, the drivers and
tried to print. I did that three times yesterday also, but with no
success. It's a little frustrating that after a update of the Cups, it
prints garbage. Anyway, here is the error_log that came out now (even
if there were no
