The obvious things are the missing that, the missing an, and the
missing fullstop. But then there's more space for improvement. The
description doesn't mention at all the program's purpose. I would

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I use the -P flag to start firefox with different profiles depending on what I
am using it for (it separates cookies, history, and preferences).
This flag does not work in Hardy with firefox 3.0 anymore.
examples of use:
firefox -P default
There is no output.
It opens the correct page but in the wrong profile (it uses the
currently running firefox instance instead of opening a new one with
the specified profile)
for example
firefox
* runs firefox *
firefox -P profile2 http://www.cnn.com
* opens a new window with http://www.cnn.com
I can confirm this bug. Stopping winbind, the samba shares can be
accessed, with winbind running they cannot.
Has caused quite a lot of trouble here

In Debian etch they make the right movement on the screen but in 10% of the

no adjustment gives satusfiring results.
The newer drivers from penmount don't run in cuase auf the glibc 2.4

I've some experiences with the serial penmount: they are much more easier to

Unfortunately kontron doesn't distribute the ePanel with the serial Penmount
and the customer will have categorical these kontron-devices ...
I promise that I don't give up :-)

After reading this thread, I've upgraded from debian etch to lenny to compile
the patched driver an now the latest version from
Hardy LTSP doesn't work with XDMCP! I have set this in my lts.conf:
SCREEN_07 = startx
Result: No GDM-Login appears on the terminals!
The settings in /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom where checked and ok, ufw is disabled.
Only a X - Pointer appears in the middle of the screen.
with SCREEN_07 = ldm :
Confirming this behaviour with current Hardy.
