I tried installing Pinax 0.7.1 in a virtualenv using their script and it
CRASHES EVERY TIME unless I remove python-setuptools and virtualenv (at
which point it installs its own). It seems related to this (the version
either being too old, or perhaps too new).

I gots gutsy running on an ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 and no black
screen... though, it does go black for a second or two during bootup.
However, everything I move something on the display my CPU usage
skyrockets! The xorg.conf says the driver is "ati" not fglrx.

I ran dmesg -c after rebooting then inserted a USB, copied some files
onto it, then safely removed it. Then I hibernated, then I resumed and
re-inserted the USB... nothing happened, then I removed it and the dm

This bug is a show-stopper for anyone with a laptop. I'm on a Toshiba Portégé
running feisty with
$ uname

rebooting I can use a USB mouse, however after hibernate it just refuses

I have a pvrusb2 as well and when I hibernate it just doesn't wake up,
and I lent it to a friend who had the same issue on his computer(s?) so
this issue has been reproduced.
Is this bug possibly related to Bug 105563 in hal (Ubuntu)? Because
oops, should have put this in as well
After I rebooted the laptop I ran dmesg -c to clean the log, then inserted the
USB stick (as can be seen in the log) and it worked, I removed it properly,
then I hibernated and tried again but this time NOTHING. the output of
dmesg>dmesg.log is also attache
