Nothing new to report. Until Canonical puts the dell-uart-backlight
kernel module back into the distribution, and fixes the
brightness/backlight code, we'll have to use xrandr to do it manually...
xrandr_brightness.sh, set properties to "execute as a program", right-
click and select "run

/var/log/clamav/freshclam.log.
logwatch does nothing to update "it". It only reviews the freshclam.log

Why wouldn't reinstalling a package restore a .conf file, when the file
is clearly in the .deb package, or when done via Synaptic?
I hadn't touched or deleted /etc/ipsec.conf. I only discovered the
problem after strongswan updates were performed, and I noticed errors in
my daily logwatch report.
I forgot to mention... when I submitted the bug report, I had already
manually restored /etc/ipsec.conf, so that's why it found that file.

I have the same problem after the update to Maverick. More specifically,
this problem only occurs when switching to a mailbox where the first
highlighted message is unread. This message is displayed, but the read
flag is never unset. If you click on another email to read, then click
again on the or
...without...

I do have apport enabled, and I do normally get automatic crash
reporting. However, I've seen a number of times where Evolution will
just disappear with any notification or crash report. That's why I
decided to manually start reporting them, in the hope that something
might

Hello Alexander,
This Evolution crash is weird. It just disappeared without any
notification. Usually I get an icon in the top panel that warns me that
an app crashed, and allows me to upload the debug info. I had to upload
this info manually via ubuntu-bug. I've had a few similar Evolution
crashe

In Evolution, I clicked a link to a .pdf file on the web, and Firefox
displayed the .pdf. When I switched back to Evolution, it was gone, with
no error messages or dmesg info.

If I receive an email with a long URL... ie: like an email from eBay
with a link to an auction item... when passing the URL off to a web
browser (Firefox, Chrome), it truncates the URL to approx 148

Sorry for the incomplete info. Maybe I assumed that there was enough

indicator 0.3.7 refers to the Indicator Applet 0.3.7 that resides in the
top panel in 10.04. It attempts to consolidate mail, chat, and broadcast
notifications.

Sorry to whine... but as important as Gwibber was to the Lucid release,
I can't believe that this Gwibber crash at wake from resume bug hasn't
been nailed yet. It happens EVERY time my laptop wakes from sleep. SUDO
/ETC/INIT.D/WHINING STOP. Giggle.
