More description on the bug: (I am using HP dv4-1540us.) Here's the typical scenario when this bug almost always affects the panel -- After removing AC power, I close the laptop lid (to suspend the OS) and then open the lid again after some time. That is when the power icon starts showing "on AC

Public bug reported: The notification area does not behave correctly, only a full system reboot fixes it. 1. Sometimes there appear duplicate icons (like two wireless connection icons.) 2. The battery indicator symbol appears incorrectly -- sometimes it shows "on AC power" even when on battery.
