I just finally upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy, and the wl driver is causing
kernel panic again upon wake up from suspension.
Running 2.6.27-12-generic x86_64 kernel, with

this upgrade in Hardy seems to have fixed the problem for me (BCM 4328). I
have not had any kernel panic since. So perhaps dg's report is more specific
to Intrepid?

updated to the fixed package. so far it has been working well.
suspend/wake cycle (which induces kernel panic previously in high frequency)
seems to work well.
upon waking, it does take a little bit (~30 sec or less) before network
manager gets the wireless interface to resume connectivity, but

Let me correct myself from the previous post...
I have Broadcom 4328, running wl driver under kernel 4.6.24.21-generic
attached is the screen shot, when I wake the computer up from suspension.

Running Linux Mint 5 (Hardy base) with kernel 2.6.24.21. running wl driver for
broadcom 4321.
We mostly get kernel panic when waking up from suspension or hibernation. It
seems wl driver is trying to reconnect but fails. about 3 out of 4 times
frequency

I followed everything on this thread and gets exactly the same result...
I remember it worked back then... in Edgy at least. I think it was
broken since Feisty.
