I am testing Ubuntu (20.04 LTS) Mate in a Oracle VM Virtual box and when I
switch to brazilian portuguese the icons in the main menu disappear. The names
are there and they work but no icons.
When I switch back to english the icons return.

Hi there, I have a problem with my network at home. I have two PCs, one running
Win XP Pro(let's call it "client") and another running Ubuntu 9.04/Win XP
Pro(let's call it "server"). My cable internet connection is at the server
machine and I share it with the client. I use

instructios only today and they seem to be right. I removed everything from
nvidia using the Synaptic, added the "http://ppa..."; string to the repository
and reinstalled the drivers from there. Now I am playing a 3d game using
Michael, thank you very much for your help. I am a newbie in Linux and I
downloaded the drivers directly from Nvidia. I did as you told me and my system
is stable again, in terms. Sometimes it freezes and the video becomes strange
but at this point I don't know if it was caused by my moves tryin
