Ubuntu 10.04 NetbookRemix When I boot my system after a short undefined
time the menu/title bar at the top of my screen disappears with visual
effects set to none.When I mouse over it the title menus pop up as
normal so I can fumble around my system. I have found that setting

I FIXED IT!!! Wh
the package was failing on the 2.6.32-24-generic kernel so I installed
the 2.6.32.25.27 one and then removed the failing one and fixedso
far as i can see.
YEAY ME!!

Ok I ran those 2 terminal commands which gave me back access to update
manager/synaptic etc. I did still however get an error message about
open office(lost it). Went to synaptic broken dependencies,there was 6
including openoffice. was able to re-installed all except open office.
