UK Macintosh International keyboard. Everything works, except for the

Without my having done anything different (i.e. before even installing
the backported hal library) I've randomed left the laptop for a long
time whilst attempting to resume (something like longer than 5 mins).
And it works, although the system seems to be pretty slow, by that a top
shows sys
I still have the same problems with 2.6.20-15, I think I'm running
2.6.20-15.27 (synaptic shows that it's installed), but uname -a just
gives 2.6.20-15.

I have this problem too.
I have a Vaio FS315-S, which will hibernate, but will not resume from
suspend. On waking up, the hard drive makes noises, the cd drive makes
noises, but I can't switch to a tty and back again to bring X back, nor
can I ssh in.
uname -a is
Linux bunny 2.6.20-13-generic

I'm using a WPA encrypted network, and when I used the version 4
firmware under network manager, the machine locks up and needs a hard
reset. However, when I *don't* use NM and configure
I can confirm this for unencrypted and for encrypted networks, on dapper
and edgy.
I can connect fine using
iwconfig
wpa_supplicant
dhclient
But the balls on network manager just spin forever and ever. I can't try
using ndiswrapper as it's on my iBook G4.

Vincenzo's tip also works for me.
I disable tapping by default, but when waking from suspend, tapping was
always enabled, and scrolling disabled. Using the
DOUBLE_CONSOLE_SWITCH=true line works though. (Although the screen does
flash twice and it looks sort of ugly, but it's no longer a show
