"bugs" (buggy implementations of WPA access points) here. On one hand,
the patch du jour that disables TLS session tickets seems to fix the
problem I've been having authenticating to certain Aruba access points.

same problem with a Dell XPS M1330 with an nvidia graphics card. I
removed the nvidia proprietary drivers and experience the same problem
(but the xorg.conf file might not have been consistent with this
change...)

solution is the same, ie go back to gnome desktop. I've now tested it
and it works pretty well on gnome.
(Actually, I still saw the sudden leap to x=0 or y=0 once or twice in
hundreds of test strokes -- it must be some kind o
"up"graded to oneiric ocelot 11.10 (what ARE the Ubuntu people of power
thinking about these days?)
with Unity2D the gimp problem is different (but equally crippling) --

I don't like the Unity Desktop at all, because it seems it runs several
processes more than others and i can not disable because there is no
config-switch to disable them. Additionally i have only a Athlon 1700 with 2 GB
and it runs very slowly on it. I can't go and buy a new PC only

I'm getting this on a Sparc Ultra5 with Ubuntu 10.04, Kubuntu 10.04.
I tried installing Ubuntu 8.04 which gets further but then consistently gets
"Select and Install Software: Installation step failed"
In every case MD5 checksums all OK, tried burning multiple CDs at
various speeds. All verified
Same thing under by Asus X23F notebook. It's using the same device:

Same problem. Occured after libtorrent-rasterbar6 was updated to the
latest one (libtorrent-rasterbar6 version
0.15.6+svn.r5675-0ubuntu1~maverick). Uninstalling qbitorrent and
libtorrent-rasterbar6, restart pc and installing those two again didn't
help.

I can not try any of the contents. Always when i try to start gdesklets
