If it helps any, I had this problem when I tried to boot the saucy image from
Aug 18. It dropped me to a busybox shell or when I selected "check this CD for

Right now im using the preinstalled driver. Everything works fine (and
fast), that definetely wasnt the case in 11.10. Even Gnome Shell works
fine now. When i was using the ATI driver instead everything was pretty
slow and the opposite of smooth.
Can this be fixed without installing the ATI driver

Small update: The key "2" has the same effect as the enter key. I tried
every other key on the keyboard including some multimedia keys, but
these two are the only ones that cause the crash (plus the return key on
the numpad if you want to count that).

X.org seems to crash randomly when pressing the enter key.
It has happened several times in gnome-terminal, Firefox, synaptic and
Code::Blocks without any obvious pattern.
I am returned to the gdm login screen every time.

I can also confirm this bug still exists (or again?) on a 10.04 32 bit
virtual machine. I can't choose "no". Is there a workaround for this? I
didn't even choose anything before this dialogue appeared.

I was using server kernel on Jaunty; the Karmic upgrade seems to have
changed this to the generic kernel.
