Public bug reported: meld 3.11.3 as included in Utopic 14.10 (and hence Ubuntu-Mate 14.10b1) is from the UNSTABLE branch of meld development. Trusty (14.04) includes meld 1.8.4 - a stable release from meld. However Utopic (14.10) does not include 1.8.6 - the current stable release of meld.
