Author of the upstream report here. The fedora users mentioned that there seems to be an issue with the ABI of the gmmlib and/or that a recompile of the package fixed their issue. And I can confirm the solution. I recompiled both intel-media-driver and intel-gmmlib and the issue resolved itself.
