I am experiencing the same problem with Hardy! Without the 'splash' kernel option everything is all right, suspend/resume works fine. With the kernel option 'splash' or with the option 'vga=771' the machine (hp nx8220) suspends, but is unable to resume. I only get a blank screen. The video card is
