The password validate plugin was just working fine until today. And

Here's an issue I can reproduce every time, using Ubuntu Maverick AMD64, with
no ppa and no proposed update.

BTW : I would like to obtain a backtrace, when there is apparently no
cheese-dbg package in the repositories.
If necessary, I will also report the bug upstream.

Here is an important additional piece of information :
it turned out that :
- when choosing in the PulseAudio mixer the Logitech Webcam as audio input
source (instead of the internal line-in), Cheese doesn't hang anymore
- HOWEVER : the first video is recorded properly but if I record 2 videos
I think this bugreport should only focus the 1st issue. Can someone
change the bug description ? It should rather be :
Cheese hangs when recording a video when the audio input is not set to
the Webcam microphone
The relevant Gnome tracker bug being :
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
Hi !
Here's an issue I can easily reproduce + I attached a stack trace.
I have to :
1) open totem
2) open a couple of mp3s : in my case : the Machinarium soundtrack, in mp3s,
with a cover.jpg file that is displayed while playing
3) play some
** Attachment added: stack trace obtained when the Totem GUI froze, when
changing the track

managed to reproduce it, I guess ?).
