The battery in these are weak; only 2 cell (7.7v) @ 4600mah. 6hrs is a
pipe dream; perhaps with the screen being off and no apps running, maybe

that have specific errors/messages thrown in dmesg [non fatal mostly],
but usually can be fixed and solved rather easily (I always look at
syslog, etc. on every new install to check/solve specifically for them).

in size, maybe they actually added the correct acpi tables this time

while attempting to enable desktop effects the computer tried to
download and install these nVidia drivers and failed. I thought I heard
there was something going on with these drivers so I thought I'd submit
this report.

which works very well, even with Google Apps accounts and uses the
built-in notification system. The only thing I miss from gmail-notify
is the ability to launch a custom command when the icon is clicked (ie

Saving to a network drive mounted via FTP or SSH results in a blank
file. Saving locally works fine. I did not notice this problem before
upgrading to Meerkat.
