The easiest way is to upgrade to oneiric, but you might want to wait
until the final version comes out. Alternativly, you could just upgrade
the kernel and try out the patch.

I'll try getting the 2.6.37 kernel and see if it works on that.

Wanted to report that after a clean install (formatting the drive etc..) it
runs just fine.
It therefore seems like it's a problem with the upgrade from karmic to lucid
that skips / keeps some files.
Good luck :)

The file /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state contains:

after changing to true and running sudo restart network-manager

Have the same prob, changing the foreground color through gconf-editor does not

When trying to re-install the anjuta package through synaptic I get:

Hi,
I'm still experiencing this bug on karmic (as of Aug 29). Wireless works
great with unsecured networks but disconnects about once a minute on
secured WPA networks. I've tried running sudo service apparmor stop as
suggested by some - but the problem persists.
I'm running the 2.6.31-8 (x86_64)
the above fix doesn't work for me - still no non-root permissions for
/dev/dri/card*.
I'm running hal (0.5.12~rc1+git20090120-0ubuntu1) on a fresh Jaunty
install and the line:
merge key=access_control.file
type=copy_propertylinux.device_file/merge
already appears in
jaypmcwillams - many people here have reported the problem even when
compiz was disabled. . are you sure you were having the same problem?
