Bugs,
I had this freezing problem with 64Bit Ubuntu 7.10 on my X61, 7767A4U.
If the laptop booted on the docking station, ACPI would not trigger the
proper disconnect scripts during undocking and the laptop would freeze.
(It was possible to manually disconnect by executing the ACPI script,

I have the same problem with my X61 tablet (7767A4U) and my UltraBase.

boot the laptop while undocked, I can dock and undock but never have
access to the DVD drive.

I too had the same 0-11% problem. Mute would work, the volume controls would
un-mute but not change volume.
Installing the version form Feisty as suggested in this tread fixed the
problem. The display is bigger and uglier, but at least the keys work. ;)
If I remove the thinkpad_acpi module, the laptop will successfully
sleep, and resume. The volume buttons still produce no event in the acpi
log.

Public bug reported:
I have a Thinkpad X61 Tablet, 7767a4u, on which I originally installed
7.04. I only used 7.04 for a week before upgrading to 7.10. Since then
the sleep function has worked perfectly. My last successful sleep
wake-up was 3 days ago.
Today I went to put the laptop to sleep
