Since latest upgrade, my system (Lenovo Thinkpad X60s) won't boot up entirely
if wifi hardware switch is off. Starting process hangs without any activity.

Purging the postgresql package _and_ all the installed dependencies

When closing the laptop lid, the screen turns black as wanted. When opening the
lid, it is switched back on for about a second before it turns black again for
another half a second. Aftr that screen is switched back on an running as
I can confirm this problem. After some time, there are just white boyes instead
of the flash video objects. The time it occurs seems not reproducable to me.
Neither it seems to be a certain time, nor a certain number of played flash
videos nor a certain website/video.
Restarting firefox helps.
I may have triggered the problem with installing firefox 3 and firefox
3.1/3.5 in parallel.

I don't get any crash file for pidgin. /var/cache/ just contains crash
files for other applications.

The prolem is/was just a misleading error message. JRE was installed but not
selected in the OOo options. So explicitely adding the installed JRE in the
options menu solves thsi problem.
Bug can be closed in my opinion. Thanks for your commitment.

When I installed package lightning-extension-locale-de on kubuntu-hardy,
