the problems persist in my machine with Kubuntu 8.04, Cream 0.39 and
Vim version: 7.1.138.
Actually just a few weeks ago, I discovered a workound: if I download
the .tar.gz from the VIM-LaTeX web site and install it as describe
there in ~/.vim, then Vim-LaTeX menus are ava
ocales and it set
by default US English locales in KDE.
This also happened with previous versions, so I knew that I must
change locales and in Feisty it worked.

Sorry, Victor, you are right regarding my comment on "krusaderrc". I
have just purge krusader (and manually remove krusaderrc) and after
reinstalling it, owner is ok. I might have launched it the first time
from K-menu where it is run as root... Sorry for the confusion.

I think that it is actually a more general issue: the package is
installed belonging to "root". Thus, ~/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc is
owned by "root" (not by the ordinary user, as all the other "rc" files
in the same fold

It is not a bug in dolphin.
I have just realized that dolphin and strigi (now part of Gutsy) share
the same shortcut "Crtl+1". As both strigi and dolphin are installed by
default, they are in conflict when using this shortcut.
